At NZME, we’re on the hunt for a Commercial Partnerships Specialist to help deliver some of Aotearoa’s most recognisable media partnerships. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be right in the action, connecting the dots, keeping things moving, and making sure every detail hits the mark.

You’ll be at the heart of high-profile partnerships across NZME’s portfolio - think major cultural moments, sport, and entertainment. From Synthony and the ASB Classic to NZ Fashion Week, the Warriors and Auckland FC, you’ll help bring big-name experiences to life.

Working across NZME’s iconic brands including ZM, Radio Hauraki and The Hits, you’ll collaborate with internal teams, partners and clients to deliver campaigns that Kiwi, hear and talk about. No two days are the same, and you’ll play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly from first idea to final wrap.

What you’ll be doing

• Owning the day-to-day coordination of NZME partnerships, keeping timelines, deliverables and activity on track

• Working closely with internal teams, partners and clients to keep everyone aligned and informed

• Bringing campaigns to life through interviews, promotions, activations, tickets and more—with a sharp eye for detail

• Keeping project trackers, runsheets and WIPs up to date so nothing slips through the cracks

• Supporting on-the-ground activations and helping wrap campaigns with reporting and insights

• Being the go-to, reliable link between teams, partners and clients

About you

You’re organised, proactive and calm under pressure. You love a busy environment, enjoy working with lots of moving parts, and take pride in delivering work that’s polished and on point.

You’ll bring:

• Around 2+ years’ experience in media, marketing, sponsorship or events (or similar), and you’re ready to step up

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities with confidence

• Great attention to detail and a hands-on, get-it-done attitude

• Clear, professional communication skills and a collaborative mindset

• Confidence using tools like Microsoft Office, Teams, Canva (or similar)

• A positive, solutions-focused approach and genuine interest in media and partnerships
