About the role:
As the Marketing Coordinator, you will be the lead marketer to our field sales teams across all lines of business. You will work to propel the brand's image through consistent messaging and strategy. Working alongside our carrier and OEM partners, you will oversee the development and execution of pricing/promotions daily both internal and external communications and marketing strategies through new and existing channels.
What you’re responsible for:
- Develop tools and materials to support OSL and Client branding guidelines and in-store execution
- Plans and ensures the timely execution of all merchandising initiatives (I.e. client reports, postmortems, photos, checklists, etc.)
- Prime for all daily field communications which include carrier updates, carrier offers and promotions, client communications, merchandising, sales and marketing initiatives
- Maintains the systems and tools used at OSL HQ to track store attributes.
- Responds to client, field and vendor merchandising inquiries
- Proactively identifies issues with promotions, floor plans, mods or other in-store Marketing and/or initiatives.
- Develops and deploy a launch plan for any new product where required (Product can be defined as being any device, offer, plan, warranty, or credit initiative).
- Maintain multi carrier offers and promotions within RQ in an accurate and timely manner
- Facilitating internal and external discussions on current and upcoming promotions and organizing action plans to align with advertising initiatives for Carrier Partners
- Implementation and execution of pricing and promotions offer within RQ for all lines of business
- Liaise with internal and external clients on reporting needs monthly to reconcile offers, promotions, and merchandising initiatives that have been executed
- Lead and execute daily reporting, keeping track of offers/pricing updates
- Collaborating with Training to create support tools for Product Knowledge, Selling, Marketing and Promotions (Cheat Sheets, In-Store Marketing, Events, Contests)
To be successful:
- Experience in the wireless industry is an asset
- Proven success designing and executing marketing and communications strategies and campaigns
- Strong working proficiency in MS Teams, RQ, and other online training vehicles
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Excellent organizational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent time management and attend to detail
- Must be able to think analytically and strategically
- Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently
- Required shift Flexibility with ability to work various shifts Monday to Sunday especially during key selling periods
- Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines
- Superior written and verbal communications skills

- Bachelor’s degree in related fields, such as marketing, education, organizational development, human resources, business administration, communications, etc. is an asset
- 2+ years prior experience working in a marketing or communications role
- Must possess the ability to proactively build strong relationships within a diverse organization
- Must possess exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple on-going priorities
- Superior organizational and planning skills are required
- Proficient in both English and French is considered an asset
