JOB SUMMARY:
The House Manager is responsible for the smooth operation of both the lobby and audience seating areas during events. Welcomes the public to the theatre and oversees their safety and well-being before, during, and immediately after events. Represents the Arts & Culture division, ensuring a welcoming & inclusive theatre environment for all patrons and volunteers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Two (2) years of closely related experience performing similar functions in a public-facing or customer service role.
Preference will be given to applicants with prior supervisory experience.

Ability to perform physical activities, such as climbing stairs, lifting boxes of programs, walking, scanning tickets, stooping, and handling materials.
Ability to lift 40 lbs repetitively.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to the duration of a shift.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress.
Comfortable answering questions from the ushers and patrons to resolve service issues.

TEMPORARY POSITIONS:
An "At Will", FLSA non-exempt employee who is not eligible for County benefits and who must work an average of 29 hours or less per week or an average of 129 hours or less per month.
