Mechanical EngineerRiga, Latvia (On-site) Redwire Corporation is a global space and defense technology company building the infrastructure of the future and delivering multi-domain solutions. The company specializes in the design, manufacturing, and integration of autonomous unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and advanced electro-optical surveillance systems. Our technologies are trusted and deployed across defense, security, civil, and industrial sectors worldwide. We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and support of mechanical systems and manufacturing solutions. Main Responsibilities:Design and implement mechanisms and auxiliary equipment for manufacturing
Develop and maintain technical documentation (drawings, specifications)
Design, analyze and test mechanical systems and components to meet project requirements
Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to assess the viability of proposed designs
Support research and development activities
Plan tasks and prepare technical reports
Contribute to improving production processes and efficiencyProvide technical support for CNC machining and manufacturing processes
Collaborate with engineering, production, and quality teams. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical EngineerMinimum 3–5 years of professional experienceExperience in manufacturing or machining environments
Knowledge of mechanical design principles
Experience with CNC systems and production processes
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks or similar)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and in a team

Salary: 2800–3500 EUR gross
