The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.
Your new responsibilities
- Provide technical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair support for test systems and wafer probing equipment.
- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to restore functionality.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance and follow standard maintenance procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintenance materials and monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid equipment downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of daily, monthly, and yearly maintenance activities and update maintenance logs, checklists, and reports in a timely manner.
- Assist Process/Test Engineers in equipment evaluation, setup, and qualification activities and support experiments, data collection, and validation during process improvement initiatives.
What we look for
- Candidate must have at least a Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing or test & inspection engineering is needed for this position.
- Willing to work in rotational shifts.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu in both verbal and written.
