Technology Roles
You were made to create Better Care for a Better World: designing new technologies, diving into data, optimizing digital experiences, and constantly developing better, faster ways to get results. You want to be part of a performance culture dedicated to building technology for a purpose that matters. Here, you’ll work in an environment that promotes sustainability, inclusion, wellbeing, and career development while you help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU.
About You
In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. Job responsibilities include:
We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Advanced AI Solution Architect to architect, scale, and govern enterprise-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI platforms that drive measurable business impact. This role is ideal for a hands-on AI leader with deep expertise in large language models (LLMs), AI Agents, RAG systems, LLMOps, and enterprise AI governance — someone who combines strong technical depth with strategic architectural vision. As a senior technical authority, you will lead the architecture, design, and productionization of our flagship AI platforms while actively contributing to enterprise AI governance through the Advanced AI Council. You will partner with product, engineering, data, security, legal and enterprise architecture leaders to ensure our AI ecosystem is scalable, secure, observable, compliant, and built for long-term enterprise adoption.
To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:
Required Qualifications
Architecture and Platform Leadership:
Lead the architecture and evolution of enterprise-scale GenAI and Agentic AI platforms, including LLM-based systems, RAG architecture, AI Agents, and multimodal pipelines.
Define and institutionalize reference architectures and reusable design patterns across AI platforms.
Evaluate and select foundation models (open-source and commercial) based on business objectives, cost efficiency, performance, and risk posture.
Design secure, resilient, high-performance cloud-native AI systems (Azure preferred) aligned with enterprise architecture and security standards.
Model Strategy and Optimization
Fine-tune and optimize large language models using prompt engineering, LoRA, PEFT, transfer learning, and reinforcement learning techniques where applicable.
Architect scalable RAG systems, including embedding strategies, vector database integration, and semantic retrieval optimization.
Establish robust evaluation frameworks covering semantic accuracy, hallucination detection, precision/recall, explainability, and business-aligned KPIs.
Drive experimentation and innovation across transformer architectures and emerging GenAI capabilities.
LLMOps and Production Deployment
Implement enterprise-grade LLMOps practices for model lifecycle management, version control, evaluation pipelines, monitoring, and rollback strategies.
Lead production deployment using cloud-native infrastructure (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable) and modern MLOps platforms.
Ensure scalable API and microservices architecture using FastAPI/Flask, with CI/CD automation and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
Optimize systems for latency, concurrency, reliability, and cost efficiency in high-scale environments.
Observability and Governance
Architect and enhance AI observability capabilities, including hallucination detection, prompt drift monitoring, model performance tracking, cost monitoring, and agent behavior analytics.
Embed governance-by-design principles into AI platforms, including policy enforcement, access controls, data safeguards, and compliance standards.
Serve as a technical advisor within the Advanced AI Council, evaluating build-vs-buy decisions, architectural risk, and enterprise alignment.
Champion is responsible for AI practices, ensuring privacy, security, fairness, transparency, and regulatory compliance.
Collaboration and Technical Leadership
Act as a senior architectural leader and mentor within the AI engineering organization.
Translate complex and ambiguous business challenges into scalable, production-ready AI architectures.
Partner cross-functionally with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, legal, data, and product teams to drive alignment and risk mitigation.
R&D and Strategic Innovation
Stay at the forefront of advancements in GenAI, LLMs, AI Agents, and AI governance frameworks.
Prototype emerging capabilities and evaluate evolving tools, models, and vendor ecosystems.
Contribute to long-term AI platform strategy and internal knowledge leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in AI/ML systems, including 3+ years in GenAI/LLM architecture and enterprise-scale deployments.
Deep expertise in LLMs, RAG systems, AI Agents, and transformer-based architecture.
Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, and LangGraph.
Experience designing and deploying scalable APIs and microservices (FastAPI or Flask).
Familiarity with vector databases (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate), embeddings, and semantic search.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud-based AI infrastructure (Azure preferred).
Strong understanding of model evaluation, observability, cost optimization, and responsible AI practices.
Led by Purpose. Driven by You.
