The L&OD Executive will assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of learning and organizational development programs that enhance employee skills and performance. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for learning and organizational development, who is eager to contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Program Development and Implementation:
Assist in designing and developing learning and development programs aligned with organizational goals.
Support in identifying training needs and creating tailored training solutions.
Participate in small initiatives or sub-projects as assigned.
Program Delivery:
Assist in facilitating program and training sessions, workshops, and seminars using various instructional techniques.
Utilize innovative learning methods, including e-learning and on-the-job training.
Program Evaluation:
Assist in assessing the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and evaluations.
Help improve training content and delivery based on participant feedback.
Systems & Data Administration:
Oversee the administration of the L&OD tools and systems, ensuring that data and materials are up-to-date and accessible.
Monitor and report on training L&OD data and other materials.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of learning and development across the organization.
Act as a supportive partner to employees on L&D activities.
Research and Trends:
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in learning and development.
Recommend new tools and resources to enhance the learning experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (learning and development, human resources, business administration).
1-2 years of experience in learning and development or a related field.
Basic knowledge of skills development and capacity-building.
Strong data analysis skills
Experience with learning management systems and learning platforms (Coursera, Udemy, etc).
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage shifting workloads.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Google Suites.
Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).
Strong critical thinking, ownership, communication and teamwork skills.
Skills/Knowledge You Need To Be Successful:
Basic knowledge of L&D or OD areas of work.
Ability to assist in problem-solving and process improvements.
Familiarity with LMS administration and content development.
Understanding of training needs assessment and evaluation.
