Production Supervisor - Venlo, Onsite (4-shift pattern)

Our Team

Our manufacturing site in Venlo is looking for a Production Supervisor (4-shift pattern). This role is crucial for leading and inspiring our production team to achieve our goals and maintain a high-performance work environment. You will work closely with other Supervisors to ensure we meet our targets in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.

What You Will Do

• Lead and coordinate the daily production on your shift, including planning team schedules and breaks
• Take ownership of key performance indicators (KPIs) for safety, quality, and productivity, ensuring the team consistently hits and exceeds targets
• Commit to developing your team by training team members, providing constructive feedback, and conducting regular performance reviews
• Work alongside the Operations Manager to support HR strategies, including interviewing new team members
• Identify and resolve issues in the production process, ranging from quality and planning challenges to mechanical problems
• Conduct shift meetings and handovers to ensure clear communication and a consistent workflow across the facility
• Uphold a safe, clean, and organised working environment, ensuring all procedures and safety standards are strictly followed
• Actively support continuous improvement projects and activities to help our team and facility grow

• 3+ years of experience as a Shift Supervisor within a high-volume production or manufacturing environment

• Experience as a people leader or manager, with exceptional leadership and team-building skills

• A results-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement

• Strong communication in English (both written and spoken)

 

Nice to Have

• A degree or certification in a technical or business field (MBO+ level or equivalent)

• Practical experience in Operations Management and a solid understanding of lean manufacturing principles
  

• Dutch and/or German language
