We are seeking an experienced Processing Technician to support and optimize blow-molding production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role serves as the first line of technical support on the floor—troubleshooting processes, supporting operators, improving efficiency, and ensuring safe, high-quality production. This is a hands-on position ideal for candidates who enjoy problem-solving, coaching others, and working directly with industrial equipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Serve as the first-line responder for troubleshooting blow molding and secondary operations issues
Monitor equipment performance and process conditions, adjusting maintain quality and efficiency
Support and guide machine operators to maximize uptime, safety, and production output
Perform job changeovers, tooling adjustments, and minor repairs as required
Assist with preventive maintenance activities in coordination with Maintenance
Identify and mitigate safety risks; ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures
Drive scrap reduction, rework reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives
Train and develop operators using standard work and operating procedures
Communicate effectively across shifts to ensure continuity of operations and issue resolution
Support plant startup and shutdown activities as assigned
Act as backup to the Shift Supervisor during absences when needed
Maintain accurate production, process, and quality documentation
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (required)
Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing safety fundamentals
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting capability
Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout shift
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard processes
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
Preferred Experience & Skills (Not Required)
Blow molding process experience
Familiarity with blow molding tooling and accumulator head presses
Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic polymer processing
Experience with robotics, conveyors, or material handling systems
Basic electrical safety and troubleshooting knowledge
OSHA and environmental safety awareness
Forklift or industrial equipment certifications
Preventive maintenance exposure
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, digital documentation)
