Ready to make your mark? Join us and be part of something bigger.
As a Delivery Optimisation & AI Enablement Manager, you will be accountable for improving the end-to-end efficiency and effectiveness of digital service delivery, with a primary focus on the healthcare sector. You will take a systems view of delivery from discovery and design through build, test, release and live service, identifying bottlenecks, reducing waste and optimising flow to improve predictability, quality and time-to-value.
Your focus will be on improving delivery performance across multiple teams, strengthening ways of working, and ensuring governance and decision-making enable delivery rather than constrain it. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to align delivery improvements to measurable outcomes, and you will establish meaningful metrics and feedback loops to drive continuous improvement.
A core aspect of the role is enabling responsible adoption of AI across the SDLC in healthcare contexts, setting clear AI guardrails and standards so teams use AI tools safely, legally and effectively. You will shape and own the approach to measuring return on investment from AI enablement (e.g., flow, reliability, quality, risk reduction and customer outcomes), and you will drive evidence-based experimentation to translate learning into repeatable, scalable improvements across accounts.
Supporting and empowering teams is central to the role: you will coach people of all management levels, raise delivery and AI capability across the healthcare sector, and help teams sustain improvements over time in line with our values.
Mandatory requirements:
Experience in digital delivery, delivery excellence, value stream management, engineering productivity, transformation, or similar roles, ideally within complex, multi-team and/or multi-supplier environments.
Proven ability to operate within agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe/scale patterns as appropriate), balancing pace with governance, risk and quality.
Proven experience improving end-to-end software delivery, operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and driving change across multiple teams.
Demonstrable experience optimising flow and delivery performance using meaningful metrics (e.g., lead time, cycle time, throughput, WIP, predictability, quality and reliability indicators).
Proven experience establishing and working within structured governance frameworks, ensuring governance complements delivery with timely outcomes.
Experience managing cross-functional change, introducing new ways of working, coaching various teams and, and embedding continuous improvement habits that sustain.
Experience implementing AI-enabled delivery improvements (e.g., coding assistants, test generation, documentation support, analyse incidents, workflow automation), including responsible use, guardrails, and measuring impact.
Strong stakeholder management skills with experience operating in a client-facing environment, influencing senior stakeholders, facilitating alignment, and communicating clearly through formal presentations and written outputs.
Personal attributes: credible, personable, pragmatic, outcome-focused; able to question constructively; thrives working across disciplines; comfortable using data to drive change.
Highly flexible (including a willingness to work away from home base, where required).
You will be responsible for:
Own the delivery optimisation and AI enablement strategy for healthcare accounts, aligning priorities to measurable outcomes and client value.
Define and govern AI guardrails and standards (e.g., secure use, data handling, assurance, ethics and compliance), and support teams to adopt them consistently.
Establish a robust approach to measuring and communicating return on investment from delivery and AI improvements (e.g., flow efficiency, quality, reliability, reduced risk and reduced toil).
Raise capability across the healthcare sector by coaching, playbooks, communities of practice and targeted interventions that upskill delivery, engineering and leadership teams.
Enable cross-team change programmes to improve ways of working, governance and decision-making, ensuring controls enable delivery rather than constrain it.
Partner with account leadership on business development: shaping propositions, contributing to bids, supporting client conversations and helping secure new work that drives future growth.
