Withholding & transaction tax management: monitor, deposit, and report on various withholding and transaction taxes, including Swiss turnover tax, Swiss and foreign withholding taxes, and financial transaction taxes (e.g. Spain/Italy/France transaction tax).
Regulatory tax reporting: plan, support, and coordinate the annual reporting for AIA/CRS, ensuring accurate and timely compliance.
Inquiry processing & support: analyze and respond to Transaction Tax and CRS related inquiries from all areas of the bank, as well as from external clients, providing professional insights and solutions.
Implementation of changes: monitor publications of regulatory updates and implement required technical and procedural changes in close collaboration with IT specialists.
Department representation & process optimization: act as a knowledgeable and reliable representative of the department in bank-wide projects and process enhancement initiatives related to your regulatory reporting and transaction tax topics.
Process & service development: Pursue the shared goals of regulatory compliance, client satisfaction, quality improvement, efficiency gains, and ensure smooth operations.
A degree in banking & finance, business administration or similar with several years of relevant professional experience in the banking and finance sector.
Several years of experience in the subject area of Swiss and international Transaction Taxation is a requirement.
A proactive and independent approach to work, with strong organizational skills and a willingness to take ownership of your work.
Good analytical skills, a “can-do” mindset, and the ability to work independently.
A collaborative team player with effective communication skills.
Proficiency in both German and English.
