About the Role Surface Experts of Metro Detroit is looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented
Part‑Time Cleaning Technician to help prepare apartment surfaces for refinishing. This position focuses on
showers, tubs, surrounds, and countertops.
No windows, no floors, no toilets.
This is a great fit for someone who wants a flexible schedule, steady weekly hours, and simple, consistent cleaning tasks.
Responsibilities
- Clean and prep tubs, showers, surrounds, and countertops in apartment units prior to refinishing
- Remove soap scum, residue, and surface contaminants
- Follow simple prep procedures to ensure surfaces are ready for repair or coating
- Communicate with the team regarding completed units or issues found
- Maintain a professional and respectful presence in occupied and mostly unoccupied units
Schedule & Hours

Flexible scheduling — work around your availability - evenings weekends as well.

Compensation: $100.00 - $150.00 per day

- Most repairs are simple and smaller than a dinner plate, yet our competition focuses on complete resurfacing. Our objective is a happy customer and a long-term relationship. We focus on saving our customers time, money and wasted materials that end up in a landfill.
- Our typical repair requires only 1 to 2 tablespoons of product so our technicians can carry their entire set of tools and equipment in a small vehicle. Our approach is clean and free of odors in less than two hours.
