The Manager, Marketplace Partner Analytics is responsible for supporting and managing the translation of demand plans into actionable fulfillment strategies across the florist marketplace network. This role will help drive shop-level capacity planning, monthly order allocation support, geographic coverage analysis, same-day fulfillment performance tracking, and fulfillment quality reporting.
This position serves as a key operational partner across Planning, Merchandising, Florist Relations, BloomNet, Customer Service, and Fulfillment Operations to help ensure the florist network is prepared to meet service, cost, and customer experience goals during business-as-usual periods and peak holidays.
The Manager will act as an operational bridge between forecast inputs, florist readiness, allocation recommendations, and live execution support. During holiday periods, this role will support control-tower activities by helping monitor order distribution, identify capacity constraints, recommend zip-code level actions, and coordinate issue resolution across the network.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage florist network capacity planning activities by shop, market, delivery date, product category, and holiday period.
- Translate demand forecasts into daily delivery projections and support tracking against capacity plans, identifying risks, gaps, and recommended actions.
- Support the monthly order allocation process by analyzing florist ratings, cost-to-fulfill, service quality, available capacity, and geographic coverage.
- Analyze zip-code and shop coverage profiles, including delivery distance, fulfillment performance, customer impact, and economics, to identify opportunities for pruning, throttling, reassignment, or network expansion.
- Monitor same-day fulfillment performance by shop and geography, and recommend actions to improve service levels, reduce defects, and optimize same-day volume flow.
- Develop and maintain shop- and geography-level reporting and scorecards to support operational decisions related to allocation, shop development, suspension, coverage gaps, and network optimization.
- Partner with Merchandising and Planning teams to ensure promotional plans, assortment changes, and demand shifts are reflected in projections and capacity planning assumptions.
- Support network design and market analysis by identifying coverage gaps, capacity risks, and opportunities to improve fulfillment performance across the florist network.
- During peak holidays, support control-tower execution by monitoring allocation shifts, zip-code level flex and surcharge actions, capacity constraints, weather impacts, florist issues, system issues, and other customer-impacting risks.
- Coordinate with cross-functional partners to escalate and resolve fulfillment issues in a timely manner, especially during high-volume periods.
- Lead recurring post-holiday and post-event analyses to identify root causes, process gaps, reporting needs, and improvement opportunities for future periods.
- Improve the structure, consistency, and actionability of recurring fulfillment reporting to support better planning and reduce reactive fire drills.
Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in operational data analytics, preferably in capacity planning, supply and demand planning, allocation, fulfillment operations, network optimization, marketplace operations, or a related analytical operations role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear operational recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Experience with SQL, Tableau, Sigma, Power BI, or similar BI/reporting tools preferred.
- Experience working with service, cost, quality, capacity, and operational KPI reporting in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional workstreams and influence decisions across teams without direct authority.
- Strong judgment and comfort operating in time-sensitive, high-volume periods such as holidays, promotional events, or peak delivery windows.
- Ability to balance analytical rigor with practical execution needs.
- Experience in e-commerce, delivery, marketplace, retail, floral, or perishable-product fulfillment environments preferred.
Success Measures
Success in this role will be measured by improved forecast-to-capacity alignment, timely completion of florist projections, effective support of monthly allocation decisions, improved fulfillment quality metrics, better visibility into poor-performing geographies, stronger same-day performance, and clearer identification of network risks and opportunities.
This role will also be expected to improve the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of recurring fulfillment reporting while helping the organization reduce last-minute issue resolution through better planning, earlier risk identification, and more actionable operating insights.
The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 to $115,000 yearly. The actual compensation will be determined by experience and other factors permitted by the law.
