Job Responsibilities:
To perform dock audits of finished goods and/or components to help assure the customer’s quality requirements are satisfied and to detect and prevent potential non-conformances
Responsibilities:
Supports Magna Operational Principles and Employee Charter criteria within context and position's scope of work supports EBM’s ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, IATF System, as well as Magna Safety and Magna Environmental Program requirements
Conduct dock audits as required to further assure quality product
Inspection and re-inspection of components and finished goods
Complete and thorough documentation of audit findings
Alert supervisor or QA team member immediately of non-conforming product
Participate in corrective actions on non-conforming parts
Help ensure accuracy and consistency of all documentation
Help ensure accuracy of product identification (labeling)
Housekeeping and other activities as assigned
Qualifications:
1 year manufacturing experience required
Manufacturing/machine operation, preferably in the automotive field
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Excellent attention to detail
Available to work overtime
Education:
High School Diploma required
Technical background in quality or related field
SPC helpful but not required
