Goodwin & Company is seeking a dynamic Director of Marketing & Development to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, strategic analysis, marketing, and relationship building. In this role, you will be responsible for developing a social media strategy, marketing materials, marketing campaigns, performing business development services, and leveraging relationships with our clients.
Duties include but are not limited to:
• Prepare, or caused to be prepared, building marketing material for available space managed/leased by GWP
• Rebranding all marketing materials and taking aerial, exterior, and interior marketing photos and videos of
properties
• Develop marketing campaign to further build and introduce the new GWP brand to the market
• Design and prepare digital marketing campaigns via MailChimp utilizing existing email list: tenant/buyer rep,
landlord/seller rep, residential listings services
• Develop a social media strategy and routinely post to LinkedIn and other social media platforms
• Oversee the design and management of the GWP website, production of a podcast, the social strategy and
calendar, and possibly a vlog
• Perform business development services utilizing current data and data sourced through Costar and other means:
o Tenant rep services (identify and contact tenants needing to either renew current lease or relocate to
new location)
o Landlord rep services (identify and contact tenants to relocate to buildings managed/leased by GWP)
o Property management/landlord rep services (identify and contact building owners to promote GWP
services)
o Construction management services (contact architects and tenant rep brokers to promote GWP
services)
• Learn, understand and leverage the current clients and relationships within Goodwin & Co, Goodwin Properties
and GW Partners (including the executives) to create additional opportunities within the Austin and Dallas
markets
EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in related field
• Demonstrated achievement in B2B sales, social media strategies, and marketing campaigns
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and
industry-specific analysis software
• Basic understanding of the industry, with the ability to become a subject matter expert on the job
• Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose equipment-based solutions
for clients
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• PR and Group presentation skills
• Negotiation skills
