We’re a small team of 5. We solve problems when we see them and leave code in better shape than when we started. As an Engineer, you’re not afraid of ownership; you take on projects with little guidance, make well-informed decisions and drive best-in-class development within the product and for our users.
Role:
- Build using: React, TypeScript & Redux
- Collaborate closely with product & design, and work with founders
- Estimate, plan and execute. FYI, we are adding 2 new products to the platform over the next 12 months!
- Ship multiple times a day, in 1-week sprints —> Managed in Linear
- CI-driven, we push for cycle time, PRs merged / week & planning accuracy
- Bar raise the code base, standards and quality with your architectural designs and hands-on tactics
- Together with the team, extend our automated e2e test suite with Playwright
Sounds like you?
- Ideally, but not mandatory, you will be Berlin-based and want to take advantage of the social and productive aspects of coming to our Maschinenraum office (e.g. collaborating with design & founders in person)
- 2+ years of professional frontend experience
- You enjoy live collaboration with your team, e.g. paired programming & huddles
- Translate ideas into end-to-end delightful experiences
- Engage with other teams to create impactful ways of quickly solving problems
- Break down tricky topics in writing and person
- Growth mindset, e.g. learns and educates the team on new tech to help advance the product
- You will help to build a company-inclusive culture and understand that keeping comms constructive keeps the team productive
