Everforth ECS is seeking a Principal Recruiter to work remotely in the National Capital Region.
The Principal Recruiter is the organization’s highest-level individual contributor and a recognized authority on requirement quality, advanced sourcing, and enterprise-critical staffing. This role oversees the most challenging, sensitive, and strategically important hiring efforts across all business units, serving as a trusted advisor to executives, capture teams, and proposal leadership. The Principal Recruiter elevates the entire TA function through expertise, system-level improvements, and mentorship while ensuring timely, accurate delivery on positions essential to business continuity and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the most complex and business-critical hiring assignments across the enterprise, including executive, confidential, high-risk, and revenue-impacting requisitions.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to executives, Directors, and proposal teams, providing labor-market intelligence, staffing risk assessments, competitive analysis, and recommendations that influence bid strategies and delivery commitments.
- Own and enforce requirement-quality standards across the organization, redesigning unclear, misaligned, or unfillable requisitions and guiding leaders toward more competitive and realistic staffing expectations.
- Deploy expert-level sourcing strategies including deep boolean logic, strategic talent mapping, competitive research, and direct engagement of niche or low-density technical communities.
- Mentor and coach Lead and Senior Recruiters through influence, sharing advanced techniques, reviewing complex requirements, and strengthening sourcing quality across the team.
- Identify systemic TA challenges—such as process bottlenecks, messaging inconsistencies, or pattern-level requirement issues—and propose targeted improvements that enhance organizational capability.
- Act as a high-trust enterprise resource, stepping into delivery escalations or at-risk positions to restore stability, protect customer relationships, and maintain program continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 10–12 years of experience, or Master’s degree with 8–10 years.
- Demonstrated expertise filling extremely complex, cleared, technical, or leadership-level roles.
- Strong advisory presence with proven ability to influence executives and senior stakeholders.
- Mastery of sourcing methodologies, including boolean design, market mapping, competitive research, and passive talent acquisition.
