The Opportunity

Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues.

This role based at our Christies Beach care home in South Australia will see you working Monday to Friday, working closely with the nursing and lifestyle/resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers.

About You

At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have worked with older persons mobility and exercise programs for at least 1 year in a lifestyle role and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike.

In addition, you will also have:

• Qualifications in Certificate IV in Leisure and Health.
• Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector (*or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears!
• Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and always follow strict safety procedures to maintain a high standard of workplace safety.
• A passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and willingness to help our company deliver quality of care services every day!
• Display a positive, fun and confident personality to help our residents (*who sometime can be very shy) to get involved in lifestyle and group activities.

Our care roles are busy! Alot of bending, lifting, pushing and squatting to perform your duties safely.
