

POSITION OVERVIEW
Under the direct supervision of a lead technician, repair and maintain aircraft components and related functions according to PHI guidelines, FAA regulations, manufacturer’s standards and experience level.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Repair and maintain aircraft components as experience dictates
Assist with maintenance tasks under the supervision of certificated technician
Prepare and check all component records and documents
Keep work area and tools clean, safe and orderly (proper PPE to be used at all times)
Working overtime as needed
Perform all duties in accordance with in-house, OEM and FAA documents
Responsible for supporting company Safety Management System activities
Comply with company HSEQ policies and procedures
Perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned which collectively speaking, require no greater attributes

Stand-Up, Speak-Out, and Take-Action – Do the right thing when no one is looking, report safety concerns, near misses and incidents to management, use the Stop Work authority to immediately stop unsafe acts or work practices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a moderate noise level.
