Key responsibilities
▪ Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, their families, and external partners by providing tailored financial advice and wealth management solutions. Address clients' unique financial goals, risk profiles, and intergenerational wealth planning needs.
▪ Client Acquisition and Portfolio Growth: Acquire new clients through strategic networking, referrals, and selected partnerships. Expand existing client portfolios to grow AUA and revenue and develop strategies for client acquisition.
▪ Wealth Solutions: Provide holistic financial advice, including investment strategies, specialty financing, and wealth planning, and alternative solutions. Collaborate with internal specialists to deliver high-quality, customised solutions that meet clients' complex needs.
▪ Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirement and internal guidelines. Oversee client onboarding, investment suitability, and documentation processes, while proactively mitigating risks.
▪ Market Expertise: Stay informed about financial markets, investment products, and global regulatory trends to provide clients with up-to-date advice. Monitor client accounts, execute transactions accurately, and address client issues proactively to ensure operational efficiency and high service quality.
Qualifications and skills for the job
▪ Educational background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field, or completion of a commercial apprenticeship or equivalent education with relevant further training. CWMA certification is mandatory. Additional relevant advanced certifications are advantageous.
▪ Professional experience: Several years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing client relationships. Experience in client acquisition, portfolio management, and delivering tailored financial solutions.
▪ Track record: Demonstrated success in growing AUA and revenues while maintaining high service standards. Strong knowledge of investment products, wealth planning, and financial markets. Willingness and ability to actively build a professional network.
▪ Technical skills: Proficiency in providing holistic and financial advice, the bank's software and CRM systems. Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and risk management practices.
▪ Language skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and the local language. Proficiency in additional languages relevant to the client base is an advantage.
