Job Summary
At Singer Vehicle Design, we strive to design, develop and build the ultimate expression of what a sports car can be. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to strengthen our Program Management Office (PMO) team with the addition of a Senior Program Manager. The PMO operates globally across our sites in Woodford Halse, UK, and Torrance, US, leading the successful delivery of all vehicle programmes across the business. The Senior Program Manager leads the successful delivery the overall Program. This is from the Program’s inception through the duration of the product development phases and customer delivery. We are looking for and individual with proven experience delivering full vehicle programs to strengthen the team.
Key Responsibilities
• Program leadership. ◦ Lead the team through the entire program lifecycle. ▪ Concept, Development, Launch and customer handovers. ◦ Delivering to the quality, time and cost targets set for the program. • Responsible for the High-Level Timing Plan for the Program. ◦ Creation of HLT and management throughout the program’s delivery. ▪ Includes identifying risk and mitigation plans. ◦ Ensures all associated function group plans included and tracked. ◦ Responsible for scheduling and progression of Program milestones and key events. • Program fiscal responsibility. ◦ Creation of budget from initial program definition to business approval. ◦ Adherence to budget throughout the program’s delivery. ◦ Provide status and declare risk, with proposals for avoidance or mitigation. ◦ Includes all associated cost relevant to the Program. • Responsible for Program content ◦ Creation, maintenance, and publication of Program PDL. ◦ Responsible all associated product definition documentation. • Responsible for Program BoM and the alignment to product definition. • Responsible for the delivery of the Engineering Timed Releases Schedules (ETRS) aligned to relevant milestones. • Responsible for Change management ◦ Lead and manage the escalation of issues through the Change Management process. • Lead the Pre-production Open to Go process (OTG). • Chair the Programme key meetings. • Responsible for program KPIs. Using them to provide direction and actions to teams. ◦ Timing and milestones ◦ Finances ◦ ETRS ◦ OTG ◦ Change management • Initiate improvements to gain product quality, efficiency, and timing.
Please Note. Whilst the above defines the basic responsibilities off the role it is not inclusive to it. The role will require the individual’s flexibility and adaption of key tasks to ensure our success.
Business interfaces
• Lead and manage with all key stakeholders Studio, Supply Chain, Engineering functions, AME, Operations, Finance and Sales.
Team
• Responsible for a team of direct reports within the PMO team. • Includes the leadership of indirect team members assigned to the Program.

• Leadership attributes to steer and implement strategy and deliver programs to target. • Energetic, initiative-taking, calm under pressure, personable and mature personality. • Resolute and punctual. • Strong team-worker. • Flexibility – being prepared to work longer hours when occasionally needed. • Degree qualified or exceptional equivalent experience. • Specific automotive program management experience. • Effective Decision maker. • Experienced management of cross-functional teams. • Conflict resolution. • Strong and confident presentation skills. • Enthusiastic about the product and program delivery. • Resilient to changes in direction.
Required Experience & Knowledge
• Proven record of Full Vehicle Program management and delivery. • Experience in automotive product development is essential to strengthen the team with experience. ◦ Low volume OEM Program Management experience preferred.
Education and Qualifications Required
• Full Driving licence.
