We are seeking a high- potential individual with a strong commercial background to take on the critical initial role of Partner Onboarding Manager. This is not a traditional compliance job; it is a fast-track operational role designed to transition into a direct Commercial Manager position within 18-24 months depending on the performance. Phase 1: Partner Onboarding Manager - 1.5 - 2 Years Approx. Focus: Execution & Compliance Mastery. You will own the process of getting Tazapay onboarded with some of the large global banks such as Citi, HSBC mastering the operational and compliance landscape of international payments.
Phase 2: Commercial Manager (Promotion) - Long-Term Focus: Relationship Management & Negotiation. Depending on your performance, you will transition to directly managing commercial relationships, speaking with banks and regional partners
This is an opportunity for a high-performer to prove their grit, execute critical projects, and earn a seat Key Responsibilities: (Phase 1: Immediate Focus) Your sole priority will be execution, execution, execution, ensuring the successful and compliant launch of our key strategic partners. 1. Lead Strategic Global Partner Onboarding: Own the end-to-end operational and documentation process required to successfully onboard and launch high-profile partners, such as Citibank and other major global institutions. 2. Compliance Execution: Act as the operational owner for all mandatory due diligence. While you will be supported, you must quickly master and execute against: a. Collecting and verifying Customer/Partner Due Diligence (CDD/EDD). b. Managing requirements for AML/CFT and Sanctions Screening. c. Ensuring meticulous documentation and process adherence. 3. Cross-Functional Drive: Utilize your commercial tenacity to aggressively manage internal (Legal, Tech) and external partner stakeholders to resolve roadblocks and accelerate the launch timeline. 4. Process Optimization: Continuously seek ways to make the onboarding process faster, more robust, and more efficient. Note: We require prior experience in leading a small team (3-4 analysts) to demonstrate project and people management ability, although this is an Individual Contributor role.
Qualifications: ● Mindset & Experience (3-6 years): Proven experience in a high-pressure, target-driven environment such as Sales, Account Management, or Complex Project Execution within Fintech, Banking, or Payments. ● The Hustle: Must demonstrate a history of being exceptionally hardworking and possessing the grit required to push through difficult, long-cycle projects ● Aptitude: A sharp, logical mind with a willingness to quickly learn and master complex regulatory frameworks (e.g., AML, CDD, sanctions) as a means to partnership execution. ● Leadership/Influence: Prior experience leading or managing a small team is mandatory, demonstrating the potential to handle future commercial relationships. ● Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential for interacting with senior contacts at global banks.
