The HR Administrator is a key contributor to delivering a seamless employee experience across Australia and New Zealand. This role suits a proactive, detail-oriented professional who enjoys supporting the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to exit, while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and a high standard of service.
You’ll manage HR data, streamline processes, and identify opportunities to improve how work gets done. Using your analytical skills, you’ll support reporting, identify trends, and help enhance HR practices. You’ll also play an important role in coordinating programs and initiatives that strengthen engagement, connection, and a sense of community across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Provide accurate and timely end-to-end HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding.
In collaboration with people managers maintain and manage employee data across HR systems, currently Workday, with a high level of accuracy, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and effective record keeping.
Analyse HR data and generate reports, providing insights to support decision-making and identify trends or improvement opportunities.
Partner with the HR team to proactively identify, develop, and implement process and policy improvements to enhance efficiency, consistency, and overall employee experience.
Coordinate and deliver HR events and initiatives, driving employee engagement and ensuring smooth execution.
Act as a key point of contact for HR administrative queries, providing responsive and high-quality support to employees and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with local employment legislation, company policies, and audit requirements in all administrative activities.
Qualifications and Experience
Demonstrated experience in an administrative or coordinator role, ideally in a people facing function or team.
Hands-on experience with HRIS platforms (preferably Workday), including data entry, reporting, and workflow management.
Proven experience managing sensitive employee data with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
Experience in generating reports, analysing data, and producing insights or presentations for stakeholders.
Exposure to compliance requirements, including employment documentation, records management, and audit processes.
Desirable
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
