Summary: This role supports day-to-day project accounting and workforce tracking activities for maintenance operations at the Shell Geismar site. Responsibilities include timekeeping, invoicing, reporting, SAP support, and assisting with project documentation and billing activities.
What you will experience in this position: • Set up new user profiles and maintain security for the TRACK System. Ensure badges are appropriately set up and activated within TRACK System. • Reviews timesheets, gate logs and work schedules, and enter time worked for each employee into the TRACK system, including allocating all billable costs for indirect labor, equipment and materials. If applicable, override TRACK time calculations and/or correct activities and schedule exceptions as required. Assist in SAP time entry as required. • Generate employee man-hour and reconciliation reports for end user acceptance and invoice support. Assists with generating workforce reports and exception reports. • Perform commercial contract administration, working with Project Management and Customer to ensure commercial contract terms are met • Ensure an accurate SAP project is set up to allow proper cost collection, reporting and invoicing, including pricing conditions and billing plans • Prepare accurate and timely project invoices including complete and detailed support documentation for projects • Identify and recommend process improvements, and assist leaders in implementing new processes. • Perform project close-out tasks for Chemelex LLC as well as PO closeout activities for the customer • Coordinate with Collections to ensure timely payment of invoices by clients
You have: • Relevant professional experience in accounting, finance, business operations, or related fields required • Recent experience using Track, AES or Suncor’s CCC system or any other client-based charge collection program. • 3+ years of experience in project accounting, accounts receivable, project controls, timekeeping, or related accounting functions a plus. • Knowledge of SAP in the Project Systems, Sales and Distribution Modules preferred; • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel; experience with Power Query or advanced Excel functions considered an asset.
