Lead the development and execution of a newly established systems-focused sales organization across Europe for Image Guided Therapy Devices (IGTD).
This role is instrumental in accelerating the transformation of IGTD toward integrated systems and software solutions, enabling higher-value commercial opportunities and advancing Philips’ leadership in complex solution selling.
You will combine strategic leadership with operational execution, building and leading a high-performing specialized sales team focused on capital, rental, and hybrid business models. Working closely with European Zone leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, you will shape the commercial operating model, strengthen customer partnerships, and drive sustainable business growth across the region.

You are responsible for
Strategy & Operating Model Development
Define and implement the Devices Systems Sales strategy across Europe
Shape the operating model, including roles & responsibilities, interfaces (Service, Marketing, IGTS) and governance.
Contribute to the definition of Systems & Software positioning within the portfolio.
Translate strategic priorities into actionable commercial execution plans across European markets.
Drive alignment between regional commercial strategy and local zone execution.
Business Development & Commercial Leadership
Lead new business generation for systems and capital-intensive solutions (eg IntraSight Plus, IntraSight, Philips Laser System, LumiGuide and future innovations)
Drive high-value, complex deals, including multi-stakeholder engagements, in strong alignment with IGTD and IGTS Zone Business Leaders and Philips Zone Leadership
Identify and unlock competitive displacement opportunities
Ensure strong pipeline development & conversion discipline, leveraging standard tools (SFDC)
Partner with regional/zone teams to activate priority accounts for IGTD
Act as a senior commercial leader with key customers and partners
Team Leadership & Capability Building
Build, lead, and coach a specialized Devices Systems sales team (focusing on driving growth in existing priority accounts and opening new accounts)
Develop capabilities in systems and software selling
Foster a performance-driven, collaborative culture, acting as a champion for change, embedding new ways of working
Financial & Performance Management
Deliver against AOP targets (OIT and sales), with a focus on stretch growth
Monitor performance through robust KPIs and forecasting accuracy

Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities.
Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
