Introduction: This role supports the Spain Hotel Business unit and we are looking for any fast-paced marketplace/travel industries candidates to apply. You will need to have the grit to do acquisition and negotiations with a can-do attitude.In this Role, you’ll get to: - Proactively identify, prospect, and engage high-potential hotel partners across the Spanish and/or Portuguese market through outbound sales activities, cold calling, email outreach, networking, and market research.
- Own the full top-of-funnel sales process, from lead generation and qualification to relationship building and onboarding coordination.
- Develop strong discovery and active listening skills to understand hotel partners’ business needs, commercial challenges, and growth opportunities.
- Build and maintain a healthy commercial pipeline with strong follow-up discipline, accurate CRM management, and clear prioritization of opportunities.
- Drive high-volume outreach activities with confidence, resilience, and consistency, being comfortable spending a significant part of the day on calls and commercial conversations.
- Represent the Trip.com value proposition in a compelling and consultative way, helping prospective partners understand how we can support their distribution, visibility, and revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to accelerate onboarding, resolve blockers, and maximize conversion opportunities.
- Take ownership of your market with a highly entrepreneurial mindset, operating with speed, autonomy, and accountability.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and commercial opportunities to continuously improve acquisition performance.
- Maintain strong organization and attention to detail across pipeline management, negotiations, follow-ups, and commercial reporting.
- Create and maintain a strong network within the industry, acting as a brand ambassador and trusted advisor.
- Bring passion and proactivity into everything you do, motivating yourself and those around you.
What you'll Need to Succeed:- Fluent in Spanish and English. Additional languages are a plus.
- Previous experience in outbound sales, business development, SDR/BDR, account executive, recruitment sales, SaaS sales, marketplace sales, OTA, travel tech or other fast-paced commercial environments.
- Comfortable managing a high volume of commercial interactions across different channels, including cold calling, video meetings, face-to-face commercial visits, networking events, and relationship-building activities with prospective hotel partners.
- Strong active listening and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build trust and identify business opportunities.
- Excellent pipeline management and organizational skills, ensuring opportunities are properly tracked and followed through.
- Strong understanding of the hotel industry, distribution landscape, or hospitality commercial dynamics is considered a significant advantage.
- Highly proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset with strong ownership mentality.
- Commercial curiosity and strong willingness to learn consultative sales and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented profile with strong execution capabilities and follow-through discipline.
- Start-up or scale-up experience is highly appreciated.
- Comfortable working with KPIs, activity targets, and commercial performance metrics.
- Legally authorized to work in Spain and/or Portugal.
