Job Description:
As a Lead Power Platform Developer at Sony India Software Centre, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will lead a team of developers and collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and develop effective solutions that enhance business processes. Your role will involve creating custom applications, automating workflows, and integrating various data sources to provide users with a seamless experience. You will also be expected to mentor junior developers and ensure best practices in coding, development, and design.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and understand their needs. - Create and maintain solutions that improve operational efficiency and business processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including testing and documentation.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in the Microsoft Power Platform ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure project alignments and expectations.
Skills and Tools Required:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and integrations.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript and C#. - Experience with Dataverse, SharePoint, and other data connectors. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Ability to mentor and lead a team of developers.
- Understanding of database concepts and experience with SQL.
