Job PurposeThe IT Support Contractor – Procurement & Operations is responsible for providing day-to-day IT operational support while managing IT procurement activities using Oracle Fusion Procurement System. The role acts as a key operational interface between IT, Finance, Procurement, and Vendors, ensuring timely purchasing, accurate documentation, and compliance with organizational procurement policies.
Key Roles & Responsibilities IT Support & Operations- Manage and keep records of IT Assets, Delivery notes, Procurement records etc.
- Coordinate with vendors and resolve their queries related with their payments, Invoices etc.
IT Procurement (Oracle Fusion Aligned)- Provide details to create Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and subsicontly raise Purchase Orders (POs) using Oracle Fusion Procurement.
- Support receipt (GRN) and invoice matching processes.
- Act as IT Buyer for sourcing hardware, software, licenses, and IT services.
- Coordinate with Finance and Procurement teams to ensure compliance with approval workflows.
- Obtain vendor quotations and prepare comparative statements.
Vendor & Documentation Management- Act as primary contact for IT vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement, contract, warranty, and asset documentation.
- Support internal and external audits with required documentation.
Skills & Qualifications Mandatory Experience- 3–5 years of experience in IT Support and IT Procurement roles.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Procurement System.
Academic, Technical & Professional Skills- Bachelor’s Degree
- Knowledge of IT hardware, software, and licensing procurement.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Office productivity tools.
Behavioral Competencies- Energetic, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
