The opportunity

Something exciting is happening at Ando.

After significant work behind the scenes, we’re getting ready to launch our Rural proposition - and we’re now building the team who will help bring it to life.

Reporting to our Head of Rural, we’re looking for experienced Rural Insurance Professionals who want to be part of something from the ground up. We’re keen to connect with experienced Rural Insurance Professionals with a background in Rural Business Development, Rural Underwriting, or a combination of both.

These roles will operate remotely for the most part, we’re open to talent from across New Zealand. We also have office locations in Auckland, Christchurch, Tauranga, Palmerston North, Hamilton and Napier for those who enjoy a mix of home and office working.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years Rural insurance experience across underwriting and/or business development

• A relationship-first approach and credibility with brokers

• A collaborative attitude and genuine enthusiasm for building something together

• Commercial thinking, initiative and a growth mindset

• The confidence to challenge, influence and create opportunities
