Our Performance team are experts in generating tools, models and simulations to predict the behavior of a photovoltaic project, which allows them to technically advise our clients and accompany them in their decision making.
We are currently looking for a Performance Engineer to join our Consulting team in Mexico or Colombia with a focus on supporting the US offices.
🛠️ What will you do?
Your main responsibilities will include:
Carry out solar resource studies, as well as calculations linked to weather, shadows, etc. that affect the specific project in which you are immersed.
Carry out production estimates for solar energy projects, working with industry-leading software tools.
Create typical meteorological years. Working with the different specialized and available databases. Analysis and cleaning of meteorological data.
Independently review third-party models. Perform data analysis of plants in operation. Comparison of models with operational data.

Major in Engineering, Physics or Mathematics (degree). Master's degree in renewable energy or related will be an advantage.
At least 1 year of experience in the photovoltaic sector or relevant experience in another field will be valued.
High technical knowledge of PV technology.
High level of Excel.
