Nous recherchons un(e) Responsable Commercial(e) pour piloter le lancement commercial de CHEMFRANCE, un nouveau salon B2B dédié à l’industrie chimique et aux industries de procédés en France. L'événement couvrira l'ensemble de la chaîne de valeur, réunissant en un seul lieu fournisseurs d'équipements, prestataires de services et producteurs / distributeurs de produits chimiques.

Prévu à Lyon en septembre 2027, CHEMFRANCE s’appuie sur le succès de CHEMUK, le plus grand salon dédié aux industries de procédés au Royaume-Uni. Vous jouerez un rôle central dans le développement du portefeuille exposants et du chiffre d’affaires du salon dès son lancement, en collaboration avec les équipes basées à Paris et nos collègues à Londres.

Basé(e) dans nos bureaux du centre de Paris, vous serez responsable du développement commercial de l’évènement : prospection, fidélisation des clients stratégiques et collaboration étroite avec le marketing et les autres équipes du groupe afin d’assurer la croissance du salon.

C’est une opportunité rare de participer au lancement d’un nouvel évènement et d’avoir un impact direct dans une entreprise en forte croissance.

Vos missions

• Développer le chiffre d’affaires du salon à travers la vente de stands, sponsoring et offres digitales

• Identifier et développer de nouveaux clients via la prospection téléphonique, email, réseaux sociaux et rendez-vous

• Construire et suivre un portefeuille d’opportunités commerciales jusqu’à la signature

• Fidéliser et développer les comptes clés

• Collaborer étroitement avec le marketing afin de cibler les bons marchés et prospects

• Représenter CHEMFRANCE lors d’évènements professionnels, rendez-vous clients et salons concurrents

• Assurer un suivi commercial rigoureux et des prévisions fiables

Votre profil

• Minimum 5 ans d’expérience en vente B2B, idéalement dans l’évènementiel

• Expérience en management commercial

• Français langue maternelle et anglais courant indispensables ; une troisième langue serait un plus

• Solide expérience en développement commercial et gestion de comptes

• Excellent relationnel, sens de la négociation et capacité à conclure des ventes

• À l’aise aussi bien au téléphone qu’en rendez-vous ou visioconférence

• Organisation, autonomie et culture du résultat

• Une connaissance du secteur industriel, et notamment de la chimie, serait appréciée

Sales Manager – Event Launch (CHEMFRANCE)

We’re looking for a high-performing Sales Manager to drive the commercial launch of CHEMFRANCE—a brand-new B2B event dedicated to the chemical industry and process industries in France. The event will cover the entire value chain, bringing together in one place equipment suppliers, service providers, and chemical producers and distributors.

Launching in Lyon in September 2027, CHEMFRANCE builds on the success of CHEMUK, the largest trade show dedicated to the process industries in the UK. As Sales Manager, you’ll play a central role in shaping the exhibitor base and revenue from day one, working with a team in Paris and colleagues in London.

Based in central Paris, you’ll own sales strategy and execution—winning new business, growing key accounts, and working closely with marketing and the wider business to bring the event to life.

This is a rare opportunity to launch a new event and make a direct commercial impact in a fast-growing business.

What you’ll do

• Own and deliver revenue targets across stand space, sponsorship and digital products

• Drive new business through proactive outreach (calls, email, social, meetings)

• Build and grow a strong pipeline and close deals confidently

• Manage and develop key accounts, focusing on retention and upsell

• Work closely with marketing to align campaigns and target segments

• Represent the brand at industry events, client meetings and competitor shows

• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting

What you bring

• A minimum of 5 years' B2B sales experience, ideally in exhibitions, with a strong track record of hitting targets

• Experience of managing other sales people

• Native French + fluent English (additional languages a plus)

• Proven new business and account management skills

• Confident, consultative sales approach with strong closing ability

• Comfortable selling across phone, video and face-to-face

• Highly organised, proactive and results-driven

· Experience or knowledge of industry and in particular the chemicals industry would be appreciated
