NEXANS pursues a continuous HRIS integration journey with the ambition of deploying and stabilizing a robust and efficient HCM cloud ecosystem to support the development of its HR strategy. The functional scope of this program covers both corporate HR processes and selected local HR needs throughout the implementation of the SAP SuccessFactors (SFSF) suite as a foundation.
The Global HRIS CoE is in charge of designing, building and maintaining consistent HR digital solutions to support Nexans’ growth. The department is set-up by streams, each one covering a specific subset of the HR process landscape.
In our 2026/2028 journey, two major trends are reshaping the HRIS landscape: the integration of artificial intelligence (generative AI, agentic automation, predictive analytics) into HR processes, and a growing demand for workflow simplification to improve user experience. This role sits at the heart of both.
The position is two-fold :
- As the HRIS Talent Management Stream Leader, he/she oversees the digitalization of the transversal Talent Management processes throughout the Nexans group, as well as their execution in production. This stream entails all steps of Talent Acquisition, Annual Performance & Goals management, Continuous Performance Management, Succession Planning, Career development, as well as potential future enhancements like job profiling & competencies management, workforce planning, mentoring…with a clear ambition to rely on AI to seek efficiencies and augment our HR professional capabilities.
- As a global key User, he/she coordinates the operations with the AMS partner to ensure a smooth execution of our run activities. This includes keeping a solid governance and execution of the support model, acting as Tiers 3 / VIP support and coordinate the follow on back-end recurrent activities (releases, instances refreshes…)
Missions :
The HRIS Talent Management Stream Leader is owning end-to-end responsibility on the solutions for his processes scope and is teaming up together with functional process owners (other CoEs), HR/Business stakeholders and other HRIS team members to pursue three overall objectives :
- Maintain : for all the processes already in production, is accountable for the solutions quality and consistency throughout the various process cycles. It includes, but is not limited to : ensuring that the solutions meets the business requirements at all time and complies with local regulations (including GDPR compliance), organizing a pro-active community and change management that includes the coordination and animation of a global network of key users, ensuring the implementation of an accurate training model, delivering the right level of communication to the HR community, planning and steering back-office activities (internal or with external partners), building and keeping contingency plans so as to maintain a high resilience level
- Enhance : ensure the best use of the existing platforms/licenses with a particular focus on workflows digitalization, UX/UI enhancement and HR data management excellence (business definitions, process execution & discipline, architecture flows inside and outside HR community, synchronizations, consistency and accuracy…) eventually contributing to a better level of service and upgraded experience for HR Professionals / Managers / Employees. You’ll serve the role in the frame of a continuous improvement mindset and act as a data quality enabler to propose smart and efficient solutions to enhance the level BI decisional capabilities.
- Develop : lead the implementation of new projects in the frame of the HRIS evolution roadmap to further digitalize the HR function and increase the maturity of HCM Technology within Nexans. As such, you will be conducting end-to-end implementation of the projects you’ve been assigned, in synchronization with vendors, integration partners and IT, with respect to the overall business and applicative landscape.
It includes the successful delivery inline with initial objectives, which represents in-depth coordination and involvement in Nexans internal activities during all the design/build/verify phases with respects to the agreed planning and budget. In this part of the role, you will bring a mix of HR functional, HR system and project management knowhow.
In all activities, he/she acts as an interface between HR, IT and coordinate with the selected integration partners to ensure the compliance of the solution and will be the key bridge between the business HR needs and the selected technology.
You’ll be working collaboratively with all the other HRIS stakeholders in both project and production mode, as well as delivering general strategic guidance, ad-hoc coordination and quickwins management.
The HRIS Global Key user is a key coordinator of our support model operations, representing the Tiers 3 escalation level, and making sure that the overall eco-system remains consistent in terms of functional and technical set-up. He/she is coordinating the delivery of our enhancements as well ensuring global and transversal back-office activities execution by our AMS partner.
This entails, but is not limited to :
- Being the main SPOC for the internal and external IT partners
- Managing transversal back-office activities when not falling under a stream leader scope
- Manages editor/CSM regular relationship on issues resolutions
Areas of Responsibility :
Within Design, Build and Run activities, she/she creates the drivers to the success of the whole value chain delivery for Talent Management topics.
His/her mission entails the following areas of responsibility:
- HRIS design : manage the Nexans internal activities related to all aspects of the business requirement definition then solution design, in coordination with the tool integration partners, to ensure solid and efficient specifications and that will bring recognized added value to internal customers (HR, Managers, Employees).
- Project Governance: set-up governance and ensure compliance until final delivery, build and maintain plannings, with respect to the global roadmaps/budgets, report activities and provide solutions to meet deadlines and mitigate the risks.
- Project execution Management : work in agile project mode and lead or participate in project teams for new digital HR processes, optimization/change of existing HR processes (supply “digital point of view”)
- Configuration supervision: continuously check that the solution being built is compliant with the design.
- Testing supervision : coordinate and participate actively to all the testing activities, whether included during the iterations cycles or during the final User Acceptance Tests.
- Roll-out: defines roll-out strategy and coordinates execution together with local HR stakeholders. Responsible for ensuring all appropriate HR teams receive the right training and information required
- Solution evangelization through active Change management : provide guidance, create or gather best practices and facilitate sharing within HR organisation, Initiate/animate/conduct regular training activities for HR users
- Data quality and consistency guard keeping: establish and lead an international network of HRIS Key users, who take care about data quality and user support in their respective scope. Including OM/Position management.
- Compliance : provide support to HR local organization for implementation in local legislation (information, documentation… e.g. for agreements/discussions with employee representatives)
Required skills & Qualifications :
Experience & Expertise
- 3+ years in HRIS, with solid knowledge of Talent Management processes and cloud HCM solutions
- Proven experience with SAP SuccessFactors (RCM, PMGM, Succession, Talent modules)
- Track record of successful project delivery in international, matrix environments
- Demonstrated ability to bridge HR policies, business processes, and technical capabilities
AI & Digital Skills (2026)
- AI curiosity and literacy: understanding of generative AI and agent-based use cases in HR
- Ability to evaluate, prototype, and drive adoption of AI features
- Comfortable with no-code/low-code tools, APIs, and workflow automation
