As a Security Officer Unarmed Mobile Patrol in Bethlehem, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees, visitors, and operations with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and site personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, parking lots, trailer yards, dock doors, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and deliveries in accordance with site policies and posted instructions.
- Support daily operations by observing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, noting hazards or maintenance concerns, and communicating security-related information to the appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
