This role supports the SCL team in International Operations by identifying and evaluating a wide range of workplace hazards and their potential impact on employee health. It also maintains essential safety management tools—including the Risk Matrix, Internal Occupational Health and Safety Regulations, and Preventive Activity Log—to ensure consistent, standardized risk reporting across the organization.
What you'll do

- Coordinate and support administrative items for safety education and ACHS training programs
- Assist with routine inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety regulations and ensure all equipment and procedures meet required standards and ergonomic conditions
- Support investigations of workplace incidents, accidents and illnesses to identify contributing factors, document findings, and help implement preventive measures in accordance with Law No. 16.744 and internal procedures
- Collaborate in the coordination of emergency preparedness and response plans including evacuation procedures, injury care, and communication with emergency services while continuously improving contingency and disaster management programs
- Maintain accurate and organized records, files, and documentation related to compliance, inspections, training, and preventive actions
- Track, analyze, and report key risk indicators ensuring leadership is informed through monthly updates
- Support comprehensive risk prevention plans ensuring they are communicated, executed effectively, and regularly reviewed across all departments
- Identify and mitigate workplace hazards through process improvements, use of protective equipment, clear signage, targeted training, and well-defined emergency procedures, among other applicable safety measures
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and internal processes that may affect the organization’s risk profile and adjust prevention strategies accordingly by providing technical advice to management
- Coordinate health and environmental surveillance programs according to existing workplace risks and legal requirements
- Participate in the design and organization of workplaces and workstations to ensure safe and healthy operation
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- Technical degree in risk prevention and emergency management or a related field
- At least 12 months of previous experience during the last 3 years in safety or risk-related roles for companies in similar activities
- Fluently read, write, and speak English and Spanish
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
- 3+ years of experience working in an international environment
- Strong background in occupational safety, occupational health, industrial hygiene, and ergonomics
- Experience coordinating safety or compliance trainings
- Experience promoting inclusive and respectful workplace practices

- Strong communication and collaboration skills
