Department/Team Purpose:
The Engineering department is the backbone of Copper; entrusted with the critical responsibility of building and securing the infrastructure that safeguards billions of dollars in digital assets. We operate at the intersection of traditional institutional finance and decentralized blockchain technology.

Role Purpose:
We’re looking for a Senior DevOps engineer at the intersection of software development and platform engineering. In this role, your focus will be enabling fast, reliable, and secure delivery of our systems, whilst continuously improving how our infrastructure is built and operated, including our blockchain environments.
Day-to-day, you’ll tackle platform and deployment challenges through pragmatic engineering and automation. You’ll build and operate scalable, self-service infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and blockchain platforms, including node provisioning, network deployment, and lifecycle management. You’ll optimise build and release pipelines, improve system resilience, and ensure ‘traditional’ and blockchain infrastructure can scale with the needs of the business.
You will collaborate closely with engineering and SRE teams, focusing on infrastructure as code, developer experience, and operational scalability across the engineering organisation, with ownership of the reliability and performance of blockchain nodes and supporting systems.
