International SOS Government Services administers the TRICARE Overseas Program providing high-quality, accessible health care services for U.S. Military service members, family members, retirees, and other eligible beneficiaries overseas.
We are currently seeking an OPERATIONS EXECUTIVE (Japanese-English Bilingual) to support our TRICARE operations in Japan. This role plays a vital part in ensuring smooth coordination between local Japanese medical providers and U.S. military bases.
Key Responsibilities
- To ensure the accurate and timely processing of Japan authorisations and attendant appointments, within International SOS standards and contractual KPIs
- To ensure the accurate timely functioning of the Japan Payments Processing including upload to the client portals and claim reimbursement
- Help resolve claims issues on behalf of local healthcare providers and US military patients, working with International SOS teams to ensure timely and accurate resolution within TRICARE rules
About You
- Experience demonstrating customer service skills in the private sector
- Claims/billing experience
- Knowledge of hospital/medical administration a plus
- Attention to detail
- Able to work to tight timelines
- Proactive problem solver, analytical thinker, good organizational skills
- Comfortable with financial data and reconciliations
- Experience studying or living overseas a plus
- Business level English
- Fluent in Japanese
