Exposure to managing water treatment plants and utilities complying with environmental legislation is essential.
Prior engagement in resource conservation initiatives, spares inventory management, and budgetary control within maintenance operations will distinguish applicants.
Experience working with international standards such as ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000, and ISO 27001, and familiarity with continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S) is highly desirable.
A proven track record in coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and cross-functional maintenance activities under tight business timelines will be crucial.
Critical experience for this role includes demonstrated expertise in overseeing complex utility systems and maintenance operations within a manufacturing context.
Proficiency in handling breakdowns and routine maintenance of critical equipment such as DG sets, compressors, air dryers, HVAC, and electrical panels is mandatory.
Strong capabilities in project planning and execution, especially relating to installation and commissioning of machinery, energy efficiency initiatives, and resource conservation programs are required.
Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodology for critical spare parts planning and risk mitigation is essential for success.
Hands-on knowledge of regulatory compliance for water treatment plants such as Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), and Reverse Osmosis (RO) installations is necessary to maintain environmental governance.
Familiarity with implementing and maintaining standards such as ISO 14000, OHSAS 18000, TSI 6949, and ISO 27001, including calibration and development of operational procedures, is critical.
Demonstrated leadership in continuous improvement and collaborative problem-solving frameworks such as Kaizen, 5S, Quality Circles, and cross-functional teams will enable you to contribute in driving operational excellence and sustainability.
