Business Overview
The Chief Data Office (CDO) plays a key role in defining and implementing the firm's data strategy and is responsible for defining and overseeing effective data, Cloud and AI governance for Nomura to enable data-driven regulatory compliance, data risk mitigation and improved data usability for analytics and AI. It is the central authority overseeing the Business and Corporate functions in complying with data, Cloud and AI governance requirements.
Role Purpose
Data and AI Governance Automation Lead (Associate) , would be instrumental in designing and developing Data & AI Governance application architectures, prototypes in line with the needs of Business functions and the Global Governance framework for AI. This role is key in bridging the gap between data science and production systems by developing robust architectures, integrating machine learning models, and ensuring optimal performance of AI applications while adhering to best practices in software engineering and data governance capabilities. The individual in this role would also be instrumental in acting as an SME and an interface between the CDO Business Functions and the offshore execution teams responsible for development, monitoring and ongoing support.
