Role Objective
This position will monitor and audit cost accounting transactions to ensure timely and accurate project cost reporting, monitor payables/receivables cycles to ensure smooth cash flow, control general accounting activities, and prepare financial reports.
Accountabilities
- Legal and formal control of accounting documents and supervision of their circulation.
- Responsibility for timeliness and maintaining accounting books.
- Responsibility for the correct calculation and preparation of tax returns (VAT, CIT, etc.).
- Preparing financial statements in accordance with the Polish Accounting Act.
- Active shaping of accounting policy within the company.
- Preparing reports and summaries for management needs.
- Contact and cooperation with external institutions (US, ZUS, GUS, NBP).
- Coordination of the process of preparing transfer pricing documentation.
- Cooperation with external auditors and tax advisors.
- Substantive and organizational supervision of the accounting department.
Job Related Competencies
Educational Background
Bachelor/TS degree in Accounting & Finance.
Experience Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior accounting/finance position.
