Mobile Engineering Team
The Mobile Engineering team of the ecommerce engineering organization is responsible for the end to end customer shopping experience of the Coupang app. From access to Coupang app, product reviews, shopping carts, and post-order reviews, we are on all of our customers' shopping trips together, and we are changing their lives through various domain services such as rocket fresh, rocket delivery, and rocket direct purchase. With a strong understanding of web/app programming, it builds reliable systems through large-scale traffic and transaction management and provides APIs and architectures needed for customer service.
Responsibilities
- Efficiency team building
- Define requirements and processes for development and testing projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders and lead developers to coordinate and discuss issues related to mission-related issues
- Lead development of various features within iOS apps
- Development of reusable common modules and frameworks
- Design and improve architecture for scalability and test automation
- Improve security and performance to help apps operate quickly and securely
- Development of API functions for mobile apps
Who we are looking for!
- 3+ years of management experience or 5+ years of Tech Lead experience
- 5+ years of app development experience
- Experience developing high-quality, large-scale consumer apps
- Development process experience with code review
- Powerful communication skills and collaboration skills
Preferred
- Experience on E-commerce
- Ability to handle multiple conflicting priorities in a fast environment
- Experience collaborating with global developers/teams
- Experience creating and utilizing Unit Test
