R&D Strategy Manager

Would you like to work with strategy development and execution in one of the industry’s most active R&D organizations?

Join us in GN’s R&D Strategy & Management Office.

You will work closely together with our Development Centers and Cross-R&D Functions in advancing our strategic agenda and collaborate closely with the GN Strategy team and other Functions of Scale ensuring a tight link to the overall GN strategy. As Strategy Manager in the R&D Strategy & Management Office, you lead or work with strategic initiatives that deliver better business results for R&D, contributing directly to our purpose of Bringing People Closer at GN.

Your contribution is appreciated, and you will:

• Oversee strategy implementation and connect the dots

• Provide leadership support to R&D Leadership Team 

• Identify strategic change initiatives as part of strategy execution, and connect the dots to our corporate strategy and long-term aspirations 

• Support and help implement these strategic change initiatives across R&D, including stakeholder engagement, planning, implementing, measuring, and anchoring changes in the culture and processes

• Secure input and alignment with collaboration partners outside of R&D, such as our Business Divisions, Global Operations, IT 

• Facilitate setting and reporting of KPIs, collecting and reporting data that demonstrate the progress of the strategy efforts 

To perform well in the role, we imagine that you:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration and have worked in a complex R&D setup or within strategy or management consulting 

• Are committed to change management and are an effective communicator

• Are motivated to work at the intersection of engineering, business, and strategy.

• Are highly collaborative and perform effectively amid complex stakeholder interactions.

• Have a structural and systematic approach when it comes to problem solving and preparation of presentation materials for stakeholders.

• Possess keen critical thinking and readily question ideas, ensuring diverse opinions are considered

• Are good at managing multiple projects and are highly motivated to deliver results

• Have good practical skills when it comes to PowerPoint and Excel

• Fluency in English, written and spoken
