Salary range (but not limited to):

54,900 - 67,100

Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance):

Salary for the candidate will be determined taking into consideration a number of factors including: experience, skills, qualifications, anticipated contribution to role, internal equity, etc. The salary range presented above is based on a 35-hour workweek and would represent a majority of different candidate profiles. However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.

About the role

We are looking for a Surveillance Coordinator and Social Media Researcher to join the Investigative Services Unit (ISU). This role supports the ISU by completing social media reporting, assessing surveillance requests, and managing the schedule of the Surveillance Specialists.

What you’ll do here:

• Research various social media sites and prepare reports on your findings for assignments referred to the ISU by our claim’s teams
• Work closely with our adjusters and surveillance specialists on files both within ISU and in the claim’s operations, including AB and Casualty
• Track and update referral logs and spreadsheets
• Schedule surveillance assignments for all surveillance specialists in the unit
• Complete other administrative duties as required

What you bring to the table:

• A university degree or a combination of education and experience deemed relevant to the role
• Experience navigating social media platforms and ability to find creative solutions to generate strong evidence for our files
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and ability to create schedules for individuals
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and decision-making skills; inquisitive by nature and the ability to multitask
• Claims experience within Accident Benefits (AB) and Casualty is an asset
• Practice due diligence when working with highly confidential material and information
• Proficient with technology and the ability to learn new systems, skills, and knowledge in a virtual environment
• Completed or working toward a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation is an asset
