As an intelligence professional, you will support improved declassification processes, data collection, and integration within the organization. You’ll track records from accession to their final availability to the public.
As an Intelligence and Information Disclosure Officer on our team, you'll help your client understand the releasability of analytical production. Using your comprehensive understanding of various collection platforms, you'll explore new data sources, build effective queries, and combine information from disparate sources. As the authority on document review, your client will look to you for time-critical recommendations, often under pressure. You'll share your expertise with other analysts through leadership and mentoring.
As an intelligence professional, you’ll serve as the focal point and principal liaison for the organization’s planning, implementation, and execution of declassification programs. You'll develop an effective, transparent, and standardized declassification of work process, training, and quality assurance measures. You'll develop solutions to declassification challenges posed by electronic records, special media, and emerging technologies, integrating existing agency databases and best practices to streamline and support declassification activities. You'll coordinate the exchange of information and efficient processes among external agencies of detailed declassification guidance to support recognition. You'll craft better work processes for the Freedom of Information Act or Mandatory Declassification Reviews for classified federal records to provide for more timely responses to public requests, balancing the need for governmental transparency with the reality that many historical records contain information that must remain protected to safeguard classified national security information.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
