Job Summary:
Provide guidance and successfully deploy all educational programs and activities as outlined in the Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) grant's goals and objectives. Serve as the single point of contact to the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC) to effectively lead and be responsible for program oversight, service delivery, reporting, compliance and overall program and fiscal accountability.Required Qualifications:

Knowledge of AEL grant requirements and Guidelines for Instructional Programs in Workforce (GIPWE)
Knowledge of principles and practices of supervision
Knowledge of effective grant management, including accepted accounting principles and terminology, and auditing principles and practices
Knowledge of grant lifecycles and project management
Organization and time management skills
Computer and applicable software skills
Analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to prioritize
Ability to collaborate with outside agencies
Physical Demands, Working Conditions and Physical Effort
Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, a negligible amount of force frequently, and/or constantly having to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met. Positions in this class typically require talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Little physical effort required.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three (3) years of related experience. Two (2) years of supervisory experience required.
