Project Title
Smart Manufacturing Automation and Reporting Optimisation for Wet Process Manufacturing
Project Overview
The aim of this project is to leverage data analytics, AI, and automation tools to improve workflow efficiency within Wet Process manufacturing operations in Micron Fab 10. With increasing adoption of smart manufacturing and AI‑enabled applications, this project focuses on reducing manual reporting, enhancing equipment and workstation visibility, and improving preventive maintenance planning.The intern will be exposed to a live semiconductor fabrication environment and will work on real manufacturing data, automation tools, and AI‑enabled solutions. The project also includes participation in an advanced initiative on nozzle liquid dispense dripping detection, combining IoT, hardware, and analytics to enable first‑of‑a‑kind detection capability in Micron sites.
Objectives
• To automate manufacturing data reporting and reduce manual touchpoints
• To develop data analytics dashboards for Wet Process workstation and equipment status
• To improve workflow efficiency through AI‑enabled manufacturing tools
• To support preventive maintenance scheduling using data‑driven insights
• To contribute to nozzle liquid dispense dripping detection using IoT and analytics
Scope
• Data Collection:Identify relevant manufacturing, equipment, and workstation data sources and set up data extraction using SQL and existing systems.
• Reporting & Visualization:Develop automated dashboards and reports using Power BI to provide clear visibility of process and equipment status.
• Automation:Implement workflow automation using Power Automate and Microsoft Copilot for automated messaging, alerts, and reporting.
• Analysis & Optimization:Analyze manufacturing data to identify inefficiencies, recurring issues, and opportunities to reduce manual intervention.
• Advanced Application:Support the development and evaluation of an IoT‑based nozzle liquid dispense dripping detection solution for wet process tools.

Automated and accurate reporting system for Wet Process workstation and equipment status, with data‑driven recommendations to support preventive maintenance and workflow optimization in a live manufacturing environment.
