The Franklin Templeton Investment Solutions (FTIS) Business Solutions Team drives innovation and efficiency across the organization. We focus on technical product management, business analysis and reporting, and process optimization to support growth. Our team collaborates closely, values knowledge sharing, and offers opportunities to work on impactful projects that shape the future of investment solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
You will manage and maintain the FTIS Reference Master data and reporting taxonomies.
You will build and enhance automated reports and Power BI dashboards.
You will support data quality through validation, testing, and issue resolution.
You will analyze assets under management, revenue, and cost datasets.
You will translate business requirements into clear reporting logic.
You will support data governance and long-term dataset consistency.
Process & Improvement
You will support recurring reporting cycles and delivery timelines.
You will automate manual reporting processes using Python and Power BI.
You will enhance internal reporting tools and data platforms.
You will prioritize and deliver reporting requests with the team.
Team & Collaboration
You will partner with stakeholders to understand reporting needs.
You will contribute to a collaborative and improvement-focused team
Experience & Education:
3+ years of relevant experience (or strong internships/projects)
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field
Technical Skills (Key Focus):
Strong Power BI skills – building and managing dashboards (data modeling, DAX basics)
Very good Excel (Power Query)
Basic SQL knowledge
Experience working with financial data or reporting environments
Technical Skills (Nice to Have):
Familiarity with Python for data analysis or automation (e.g., pandas)
Exposure to data pipelines or automation tools
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proactive mindset and willingness to learn
Built a Power BI dashboard visualizing business or financial data
Automated a reporting process using Python (e.g., pandas, APIs, data cleaning)
Created end-to-end data workflows (data extraction → transformation → visualization)
Worked with messy datasets and improved data quality or structure
Academic or personal projects involving data analysis and storytelling
