The salary range for this role, based in New York, is $91,300.00 to $114,180.00. The range may vary if the role outside of this location. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
Job Summary:
The Senior Finance Analyst, Operations will partner with Operations and Finance teams across Pernod Ricard North America to empower business performance through reporting, analytics, and insights. This role supports the Senior Manager, Operations Finance, in delivering cost reporting and forecasting, monthly operations performance reviews, business case development, key performance indicator reporting, and improved ways of working across the company.
This position is critical in helping standardize reporting and analytics across all North America production sites. The successful candidate will work across functional business partners to leverage technology, business intelligence tools, and data management best practices to bring efficiency and visibility to the operations organization.

What you’ll do:
Manage monthly consolidation, variance analysis, reporting, and forecasting for North America Operations sites, including purchase price variance, retail locations, cash, capital expenditures, and matrix spirits’ inventory.
Provide insight to Operations and Finance leadership to support decision-making and improve visibility of business performance.
Support manufacturing accounting teams with monthly outside operations activity by analyzing cost and volume variances, preparing accrual entries, and partnering with the master planner to align operational plans and financial results.
Support the development of business cases for in-source and outsource decisions and large-scale capital investments.
Support the annual three-year capital investment budget submission process and other ad hoc reports for North America operations business partners.
Deliver insightful analysis with actionable recommendations and quantifiable opportunities and risks.
Improve understanding of purchase price variance, business performance, and strategy through the development of visuals, dashboards, and other reporting tools.
Support training needs on business performance tools and best practices.
Provide internal championing for reporting, analytics, and data management.
Continually look for areas of improvement in processes, reporting, analytics, and decision support.
Lead the measurement and management of key financial and business performance indicators across Pernod Ricard North America Operations stakeholders.
Act as a finance business partner to operations teams, helping teams understand performance, risks, opportunities, and business implications.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Prior experience in finance, operations, and analytics.
3+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, operations finance, and/or reporting.
Ability to work collaboratively and act as a finance business partner.
Ability and interest in learning new tools and systems.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and the ability to connect details to the bigger picture.
Strong listening skills and the ability to understand stakeholder needs and communicate key learnings back to managers and business partners.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams at the same time while meeting tight timelines.
Strong communication skills.
High competency with Excel, data analysis, and financial modeling.
Team player who is willing to do what is needed to meet key deliverables on time and with a high degree of accuracy.
Demonstrated ability to extract insights from data and translate them into clear recommendations.
