ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will be primarily based at Mirrabooka Campus, reporting to the Faculty Manager – Health and Community Services.

In this role, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment that equips students with the practical skills, knowledge, and competencies required for success in the health and community services sector. This role plays a key part in fostering engaging, inclusive learning environments while ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and the VET Quality Framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging training sessions that meet curriculum, industry, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct fair, valid, and timely assessments, providing constructive feedback and ongoing student support.
• Develop, review, and maintain training and assessment materials aligned with current industry standards and legislation.
• Support and mentor students, adapting delivery approaches to meet diverse learning needs and optimise outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with RTO standards, ESOS requirements, and the VET Quality Framework, including accurate record-keeping.
• Participate in validation, audits, moderation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Build and maintain strong industry relationships to enhance training relevance and student employability.
• Contribute to organisational initiatives, uphold workplace safety standards, and operate in line with Stanley College’s values and policies.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent).
• Relevant qualifications in Health and Community Services or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated current industry skills and experience training and assessing within the health and community services sector.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, compliance requirements, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver engaging classroom-based training.
