Overall responsibilities are the following:
Functional People Operations Partnership
Provide day-to-day support for ongoing workforce planning reporting and execution. Helping to manage staffing plans ensuring hiring activities are triggered at the right time.
Act as the primary operational People contact for a designated Global Function within Business Implementation
Support the Senior People Business Partner in delivering People priorities and initiatives within the function
Escalate complex or strategic people matters to the Senior People Business Partner when required Ensure consistent application of People policies and operational standards within the function
Provide day-to-day HR operational support to managers to enable effective people management
Organizational Management Support:
Support coordination of ongoing hiring activities such as aiding managers in opening requisitions based on blueprint job descriptions and market specifications, where needed.
Support in monthly reporting cycle coordination alongside Global BIM TA Partner.
Help to facilitate internal movement of talent within BIM and also from other global APMT / Maersk teams to the BIM function.
People Data, Reporting & Insights
Support People data validation and reporting activities for the supported function
Provide headcount, attrition, absence, and workforce data as required
Ensure data accuracy within Workday and relevant HR reporting tools
Support the Senior People Business Partner with data and insights required for decision-making
Identify trends within People data and flag potential risks or opportunities
Employee Lifecycle Operations
Support managers through key employee lifecycle processes including:
Hiring and onboarding coordination
Contract changes and employee movements
Employee relations processes
Offboarding and exit processes
Ensure operational accuracy and compliance across all employee lifecycle activities
Maintain proper documentation and process adherence
Immigration & Global Mobility Support
Support immigration and mobility processes for employees relocating to work in one or more global projects within the supported Global Function.
Coordinate operational aspects of immigration cases including residence permits, work authorisations, and registration requirements in collaboration with external immigration providers and internal stakeholders.
Support the preparation and tracking of immigration documentation for employees and dependents relocating to the Netherlands, ensuring compliance with Dutch immigration requirements.
Act as the operational point of contact for managers and employees regarding immigration processes and timelines.
Coordinate with Global Mobility, Payroll, and external providers to ensure alignment on immigration status, assignment structure, and employment setup.
Necessary to perform the requirements of the position:
3+ years experience in HR Operations, People Advisory, or HR Business Partner support roles
Strong functional knowledge of MS Excel and reporting best practices
Experience supporting managers and employees in operational HR matters
Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management
Experience managing employee cases and absence management processes
Experience working in multinational or matrix organizations
Experience with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
Strong analytical and data management capabilities
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Ability to operate across multiple regions and functions
High attention to detail and structured problem-solving approach
