AutoStore is hiring a Strategic Buyer for our Supply Chain team in Koszalin. In this role you will be responsible for supplier management, sourcing activities, and commercial negotiations to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with AutoStore requirements. The position involves close cooperation with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support procurement strategies, manage RFx processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Qualification and selection of suppliers according to Autostore procedures and requirements
- Concluding framework and price agreements with suppliers and negotiations of terms and conditions
- Preparation of material cost offers
- Negotiation with suppliers for price/cost reduction
- Negotiation Agreements/contracts with Suppliers
- Cooperation with commodity manager, executing commodity strategy
- Implementation of sourcing strategy and actions
- Conducting and managing RFI, RFQ and RFP processes
- Facilitating parts and process qualification in accordance to Autostore requirements
- Monitoring performance and initiation of supplier audits when needed
- Approval of data required for procurement
- Handling non-conformances when needed
- Sending and collecting request for quotation from supplier according to customer specifications
- Continuous monitoring risk and improving quality
- Participation in company projects and performing other, delegated by management tasks related with the direct duties
Key Qualifications:
- Experience as sourcing specialist with good performance reviews or by manager request based on performance
- Education at relevant university level within supply chain, manufacturing or engineering (Lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience)
- Experience from sourcing/procurement procedures
- Experience with ERP systems and general good computer skills
- Strong English language skills, both oral and written
- Fluent Polish
